THIS IS HOW WE DO IT

About Us

Since all of us are not blessed or bestowed of being born perfectly healthy or have the funding to provide ourselves with options and opportunities in these economically difficult times; sometimes we need to look for those who may be able to support us in more ways than one.

Sanjeev K.S Gopaul and the Team at Cyberati Group are Paying It Forward. The Foundation and its dedicated team are actively working to raise capital with the aim of offering enhanced opportunities to children and their families one family at a time. By mobilising resources and funds, they are striving to provide these children and families with better access to medical treatments and support services, ultimately fostering a brighter future for both the child and their family. Should you know of anyone that may need assistance, please do not hestiate to contact the Foundations representatives.

HOW WE HELP

Our Vision

The Vision of M&S Foundation is to assist a child with a physical congenital disability to obtain the necessary medical accessibilities and assistance to correct this infirmity in order to have a healthier life.

The Foundation concentrates on children born with a physical deficiency and disabilities preventing them from having a normal upbringing; an insufficiency that may affect their mobility, their respiratory system and/or internal organs to digest and extract fluids fluently and naturally. It can be that a child with an irregular heartbeat or a cleft lip need assistance to finance the restructuring of the child’s palette and lip or that a baby is born with club-foot and requires reconstructive surgery and re-education.

The Foundation’s Council has the core responsibility to raise capital or seek sponsorships whereby they can then provide a second chance to a family or support in a physical and tangible way for the family to better cater for the child’s medical needs.

HOW WE HELP

Protocol of selection of project

M&S Foundation will be commissioned by a Council of Members who will accompany those children in need of a financial assistance due to an impairment. Our mission is to provide a BETTER TOMORROW for those children who have a mal-formation since birth.

To be eligible for M&S foundation’s sponsorship, an on-boarding process would be initiated whereby the parents/legal guardian would be invited for a preliminary interview which will be conducted by the representative of the Council of Members as well as an attending Doctor.

An in-house questionnaire will be completed to hold basic information on the status of parents & minor.

The minor and his/her parents will visit with the Foundations’ associated Doctor and Surgeons to perform a complete medical assessment.  An estimate of costs associated with the projected treatment of the minor will be remitted to the Council of Members.

A written consent from the legal guardian/parents of the minor, to indemnify M&S Foundation against any liability and responsibility. The Foundation will be responsible for funding purposes only. All cases will be classified as anonymous at the initial stage and it will be disclosed after completion the treatment.  The case will be written up and presented on the Foundations’ website.

The parents will have to provide a statement of accounts to ascertain the genuineness of the request for sponsorship. Full due diligence and KYC will be completed by our compliance team to determine and confirm credibility.

A project write up will corroborate all related information on the prevailing case and it will be submitted for consideration to the Council of Members.  The outcome of the assessment will be communicated to the parents.

Upon approval from the Council of Members, a budget will be allocated for the financing of the medical expenses which is payable exclusively to the medical institution. Moreover, the funds will be managed by the foundation’s account team and regular reporting will be done to the Council.  There will be continued monitoring and assessments should there be a need for further treatments that may be required as the child grows into maturity.  However, the funding will be set at a limit per the Council’s recommendations.

Disclaimer:

The Council Members of the M&S Foundation, will remain objective in all consideration to all cases presented to them.  The Foundation reserves the right to fund from 20% to 100% of assistance to our children, giving them a better future.

How do we raise capital?

How are your donations administered?

  • By sharing a child/ a family’s story on our website. You will be able to follow their story, their challenges and their progress.
  • Anyone is able to donate via the account that has been especially established for each individual case in order to carefully manage the opportunity for each child to get a better chance in life.
  • We have carefully selected partnerships made with persons wishing to make a difference in someone’s else life who will privately donate to the cause.
  • Within our Group, we have an outsourcing team who provide accounting support segregated from our other business and clients. A team of accountants who will manage the accounts especially created for the foundation and the funds for each child/family is carefully managed for that specific child and family.
  • Formal Financial Statements will be drawn and filed with the regulators in Mauritius as to how this money was raised and spent accordingly.

The medical team will make a recommendation of place and timing for the treatment to be performed.
